Have you ever tried doing something for so many times over so many years and have failed each time miserably ???? I have !!!! I'm an average guy with a desk job for nearly 8 years, I've been very successful at it. Though i have alternate career ambitions i still love my job. I always had a can do attitude and always was able to do most of the things i set out to do. But i never had a sense of complete accomplishment because i never could overcome one thing i desperately wanted overcome. I set out to do it so many times... but every time i failed miserably !!!! As much as it pains me to admit, In my life of 30years, i have tried to accomplish this for 20 years... Every single time i failed to hold my oath for long enough and broke the promise i made to my self.... Through all the heartache and pain... i still believe i am capable of achieving my elusive target... I cant give up just yet... I cant abandon my own promises...so here i am trying for another time... possibly the last time to do what i want to in the next 100 days... Till the age of 10, i was a perfectly normal skinny kid on block.... but at 10 something happened and i exploded and became a Fat Kid... now I'm 30 and for the last 20 years, i have continued to grow... my desk job and my sedate lifestyle only aggravated this problem... I don't want to get into the details of my problems as a Fat Guy... they simply are too many... So lets say i want to get healthy ...This is just a personal journal to inspire myself for the next 100 days... i have no targets except for getting into a healthy lifestyle... balancing my work life and doing everything i can to avoid eating the junk I'm used to... These are the Rules i have set for the next 100 days...
- I will not starve myself with weird diet plans...
- Will try to eat as much Fruits and Vegetables as possible...
- Avoid Rice and Oils, Butter, Cheese etc..
- Avoid Baked, Fried, Deep Fried food.
- Take smaller portions, but no limit on number of meals... Starving doesn't help....
- Slowly build up a physical activity plan... Walk, Jog, Run... Don't hit the Gym foolishly....
- Record each days activity in the Blog...
- LAST but NOT THE LEAST.... NO MATTER WHAT .... Stick to the 100 day Experiment..
Completely floored by the thought
